MacBook Pro C2D for Sale on ebay

Hey guys, I’m really sorry to do this, but I figure this is one of the more secure ways to tell people about my ebay auction.
I have a brand new MacBook Pro still in the box with a seal that I’m trying to sell on ebay.
I already have a macbook pro that I’m using for graduate school but my grandfather got this for me when he found out that I advanced to candidacy for my PhD. Its a bit lame to sell it, but I really really can use the money.
I have been on this forum for a while and I encourage you to check me out to be confident that this is for real. In fact, I have a picture of me and my gf on the lovers lane thread and a couple of pictures of my dog (who is also in one of the ebay pictures.

Just a friendly eBay hint! When you first start an auction, try to start it at a lower price. That way, someone will bid up to that price. You can always put a reserve on it, so if it goes under whatever you specify, you're not forced to sell. Good luck on the sell!

Hey, $600 already! It will probably sky rocket at the last half hour. Some people are eBay crazy, and will buy it just out of spite to the other bidders. Crazy world we live in!

Just a friendly hint...be wary of overbidders with very low scores that are willing to pay way too much for the item...I personally have gotten scammed by this..now when I sell I don't respond to , or accept bids from people with less than a 80 feedback score.

i was scammed the same way, when i tried to sell my dell laptop on ebay. With one minute left in the auction some person from Nigeria (a place that i didn't even ship to) jacked the bid up to over 3,000 dollars..it is very frustrating, i don't know if i will sell on there again due to the hassle of it.

Even if they've been an eBay user for a couple years and all their feedback as a buyer is positive? I only have 50 feedback, but I've been a member for a long time (and not being the aggressive type, I've lost a few auctions!?)

You can set auction restrictions. eBay also offers a second chance offer thing.
