macbook pro 13" unibody corrosion

I have a customers machine that had moisture get onto the logic board and corrode some areas.
I have done most of the repairs, but there is a small white surface mount component near the video cable connection that I need to replace.
It looks like a fuse, and measures as an open circuit, there is another one closer to the battery terminal that measures as a short.
Can anyone verify what it is and maybe its value?

The main problem I have left is no video, with everything else firing up on startup.

Do you have pictures ?? For a better understanding of your problem.
And what are you tying to value? The MBP

The item in photo 2 (A) is what I need the value of, or at least what it is (fuse?)

The third photo shows the same type of component (B) near the battery connection.

One measures open and the other measures short yet they both appear to be the same item.!!

If any body has a logic board that they can access and you own a multimeter I would appreciated it if you could measure these components on the resistance scale and tell me what readings you get.
