Macbook Lid Problem

My MacBook is all of four days old, and this is the first day I've lugged it to school. I have an Alpha Smart case I've been using until I can get a proper case. Whenever I take the notebook out and open it, there are always little black fibers from the case (which has barely been used) on the keyboard and trackpad. And my screen looks terrible, there is all this dust and other particles on it. Is this a problem with Macbooks, because I don't recall hearing about it? If it's not, is my lid loose (it wiggles easily from side to side when shut)?

Wow interesting? Is this a black MB or White? My lid only goes up or down and can't even more side to side at all. >_>"

I would go to the Apple store and get that checked out asap.

It's white. Crap, my nearest Apple store is in Knoxville, an hour and a half away, and my dad left for there this morning! Which means I will probably have to wait until he goes again. Thanks though, I'm glad it's not a common problem. It gets rather irritating.

Yeah, get the lid checked out.

I don't think fluff from the case is anything to do with the laptop though.

I doubt it happens to any one else, never happened to me. My MBP is one month old, I use an 'init' backpack and it's totally protective. Get your laptop checked at Apple stores dude, it's just 4 days old so do it before it gets worse. Mine is a SILVER MacBook Pro by the way.
