Well I have been doing some searching for a while on serveral forums and googling.
I came accross this info from Intel on the 945 chipset thats in the Macbooks
http://intel.com/products/chipsets/945g/index.htm
it states
"Intel® Flex Memory Technology - Gives users a more flexible memory upgrade option by allowing different memory sizes to be installed while maintaining dual-channel mode/performance."
and if I am understanding correctly, if you were to install lets say a 1gig stick of ram with the stock 256meg stick still installed, total of 1280megs of ram. The 256 meg stick and 256megs of the 1 gig would be running in dual channel and the other 768 of the 1 gig would be running in single. Which means you shouldnt see any negative affect to 3d peformance with the intergrated 950 video chipset.
Ofcourse if one was to insert 2 1 gig sticks you would most likely see a increase in peformance in both video and os peformance but that sorta goes with out saying.
