macbook air shuts down after starting to boot up

My mac book air starts to boot up (the wheal starts to turn for about 30s) than it just turns of

it was working fine a few hours ago, i did a hardware test (every thing was OK) and after that the problem occurred

PRAM and SMC reset did't help

Welcome to Mac Forums.
You've thried the few steps that I would have suggested already.
Have you tried starting in safe boot mode holding S when you hear the chime, or tried starting holding option when you hear the chime?

Sorry, I said S for safe boot, but I meant to type hold Shift when you hear the chime.
Anyway, so if you selected the HD when holding option, I'm guessing you had no joy?

Do you have an external air superdrive or access to another Mac that you can either repair the HD from the install disc or in target disk mode?

Sorry, I just realized that... No firewire! One of the pitfalls of the Air is the lack of ports, and superdrive esp when it comes to troubleshooting. ARGH
I'm guessing you have no external Superdrive for the Air!
So, if you are under warranty still, I'd be heading to Apple
Otherwise, hopefully someone comes along with better suggestions than I've had.
