macbook air 2015 11" refurbished

Apple Macbook Air, Intel Core i5, 1.6GHz, 11in Screen, 256GB SSD, 4GB RAM, OSX 10.14.6, Intel HD Graphics 6000, Early 2015 A1465 Laptop. Device was tested and 100% functioning, battery 441 cycles, no password.

just bought this for $289 charger included. Am I missing something? other macbook's with the same or similar specs are selling for $350 or above. The seller has thousands of positive reviews. Fortunately if something is wrong there is free return shipping.

It's a very nice model, as it was made just before the horrible "butterfly" keyboard debacle. However, it's meager 4GB of RAM is soldered-in and can't be upgraded. And you have to worry about getting a used one that has a swollen battery. (Make sure that the trackpad works perfectly, that the track pad and case are perfectly smooth, and that you get normal battery life per charge.) The 256GB hard drive is on the small side. you should always keep it less than 70% full. Performance really drops off as you fill it beyond that point.

I have some of these models in my fleet, and they are gems. Lightweight good performers.
