Alright i have an almost 4 year old macbook pro that i am running snow leopard on. Last week it stopped working. It would not load past the grey startup screen. I have dealt with this before and ran the disk repair from the install disk. This did not work. I reinstalled the os and it still did not work. I erased the hard drive with the zero out function in the disk utility, reinstalled the os and ran time machine to restore my system. Still not working. I repeated the process with backups from 3 months ago to make sure that the backups were not the problem. It works until the computer is put to sleep, reset or otherwise shut down or if let run for more than 12 hours. I have erased and reloaded everything 4 times now and still nothing. I dont know what else to do other than shell out the money for a professional to fix it. Please help before I have to pay through the nose. Also I am sorry for any errors. I had to type this with my nintendo dsi.
