Been having issues with a 2010 (will confirm) Mac Pro at the office.

We've done some upgrades to it, to help meet some of the video editing needs that have been popping up, we've upgraded it to 32GB of RAM, added a 500GB SSD (supposed to be used as a scratch drive), and replaced the stock 5770 with a GTX 680 Mac Edition.

Other Specs -
2 x Intel Xeon @ 2.4 GHz
2 x 1TB HDD - internal (Storage and Boot Drives)

Major issue's we've had has been finder locking up, and Adobe Premier and After Effects running very sluggish (not sure if thats normal or not with these specs).

As far as I know he's just continued upgrading OS X through the versions (right now he has Mavericks installed), so one thought we're having is to backup all data and do a clean install of things to hopefully solve any problems, but wanted to check and see if there were some diagnostics steps we could take before we went to that.

Any and all suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Thanks
~Zak
