Hi guys!

I want to upgrade the firmware of my Mac Pro 4,1 (2009) to 5,1.
I found the how to's and software tools to apply this firmware upgrade, but i can't find the firmware file itself.
The link where it should be (from Apple) works, but i don't see any file ?

Link:
https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1321?locale=en_US

Any tips on how to get the firmware file??

With kind regards,
Michael Ruley

Not sure what internet browser you're using or what version it is...but this is what I get when I go to the link using my older version of Chrome.

Thus if I wanted this EFI updater...I would click on the "Download" button. My suggestion is try a different/newer browser if you're using something older.

Michael be aware that link from Nick is not for your machine. It is an update for 2010 Mac Pros only EFI Update 1.5, and is not the hack you are looking for to go from Mac Pro 4.1 to 5.1.

I doubt if it will even download on your 2009 Mac Pro.

Great catch Harry. It was OP's original link from post #1.
