mac mini to g3?

just wanted to know - is it possible to connect a mac mini to a imac g3?

reason is - would be a cheaper way of upgrading the g3 to a faster cpu.

plus then i wont have to buy a new stand alone monitor.

Well, I don't see exactly what you want to do...

You can connect them together with a network cable, and share files and stuff, but you can't use the monitor connected to the G3 with the Mac mini by passing through the G3.

You can't use the mini's CPU from the G3.
