I have finally got the hang of this OSX I thought, and then I switched from Thunderbird as my e-mail program to mac Mail. Grrrrr. Why can I not find a list of contacts when I am writing an e-mail? Do I have to remember every person and start typing their name? I do not use the same contacts for every e-mail and it is a pain in the rear to not forget someone if the list is not visible. How do I achieve my goal with this program?

First, I'm glad to see that you were able to log on. :)

When you open your Mail program and select "New Mail", you'll see a small + to the right of the addressee box. Click on that plus sign and it will open your contacts application which will allow you to choose whomever you wish from your contacts.

Thank you. I will try that after I get my machine back from the repair shop. It suddenly started freezing up after booting, whenever I try to open the Mail program.
