Mac kybd mapping for windows F3

I have a mac connecting to a remote windows computer. The windows app is looking for F3 key depressed. Is there a key sequence on a mac kybd for sending F3 to a remote windows app?

Open the Virtual Keyboard on Windows and use that to click on F3.
