Then Quit and relaunch Dictionary. If that does not fix the issue, open Dictionary’s preferences and use the “+”and “-“ keys to remove and re-add the resources. Open System Preferences, Security and Privacy, and opt out of it. This is in part how it know what apps need to be updated. That information is partly based upon the Spotlight index for your drive.
