Show Notes Welcome to our newest member 82bluevette This weeks forum roundup and news /tips segment is short. I wanted to devote the bulk of the4 time to a discussion of some things to consider before starting to use streamed content as your primary form of entertainment. Based on a few threads I've run into here and elsewhere recently I want to remind everyone of two things. 1. Any time you are considering reinstalling OS X make a backup of your data first. 2. Depending upon which version of the OS you are using during a re-install you mat be asked whether you want to do a clean install or an archive and install. The difference is important. If you erase your data while reinstalling OS X recovery is highly unlikely given that at least some of the space where your information was may have been overwritten by the new copy of the OS and any temporary files written to the drive during installation.
