Mac does not show USB as a serial port option for Arduino Uno

Hi,

My Macbook Air with Mavericks will not show a USB connection to Uno Rev 3. I have tried installing the drivers from: Virtual COM Port Drivers but still no luck. Any suggestions appreciated.

For what it is worth I would make sure through their forums it is actually compatible with your Air. The problem is the drivers are the same version as PowerPC which was pre Intel days.
