Yes using everything that came with my inside the box my iMAC did. This is the low down on what happened. I ran DiskUtility, or tried to at least. It froze on Gathering Disk Info so I force quit the program and I then continued to submit problem to Apple. Well that froze also so I went to restart the imac, well it froze while restarting process so I unplugged the cord. PLugged it back in and I got the white screen. Tried all the option-cmd-p-r/option while start up/ and then i thru the disk in while it was still on white screen and unplugged it again and held c. Nothing happened. So then I proceeded to unplug the mac left it unplugged for about 30 minutes and it decided to start up, slowly, but it did start up. Now I just want my disk out. Everything I tired didn't work which includes. Left mouse clicking during reboot option during reboot then holding eject button itunes eject I may add that DiskUtility works fine on my Dad's username, but not mine. Then me and my dad went under diskutility and to see if the disk was in that option and maybe I could eject it from there. Well it wasn't so now I am here. :) Maybe you guys got some tricks I haven't done yet.?
