Hi, I am getting crazy using endomondo on my macbook pro. I am not able to see and use half the menu above the map under my workout. I can only see and click "share, edit and more options" but once I select more options "privacy" is cut by the workout map and "delete", "export" and "link to route" are impossible to see and select because they are covered by the map. This happens in Firefox, safari and chrome, only on mac. It Works fine with Windows. I am attaching a print screen using firefox. Can someone advice please? I contacted Endomondo and they can't help. Thanks a lot in advance.

Which MacBook Pro do you have and what resolution setting are you using? Also make sure you're not zooming the page or using an app that increases the font.

Hi, thanks for your help. I have a Mac Book Pro 13-inch (early 2011), currently under Yosemite (but it happened before I upgraded as well). The resolution is 1280x800 and the option "best for monitor" is selected. Changing it doesn't help. I am not zooming the page or using any apps that increase fonts. Thanks again.

Your settings are OK so it could be that the web page is setup for Internet Explorer and does not work well with Safari. We have seen this before with certain web sites. You can try using another browser to see if that helps. Try Chrome or Firefox.

Thank you again, chscag. Tried both of them, same problem. The print screen is actually from firefox, but I also used safari and Chrome. Contacted endomondo, they told me they tried to reproduce the error with their macbook pro and couldn't because it worked fine. Endomondo is wildly used, I believe it is optimized for browsers other than IE.

I just went to their site and did some exploring around. I can see the site is setup for Windows not a Mac. I couldn't navigate properly or select like I would normally on a site that's built for all browsers. I'm using a 2013 27" iMac set for best resolution. I'm wondering how they tested with a MacBook Pro?

If you're seeing the problem on all three major Mac browsers, then the problem is on their end.

Hi, Thanks a lot for going through all that trouble. I have no idea how they tested it. Here's the reply I got from the support's team:

"I've tried to reproduce the error on our macbook pro but I can see all the buttons and click on it.

Have your tried to reset your browsers, restart the computer, etc? If not, I would suggest you to use Windows. "

I've also looked around in endomondo's forum to see if anybody else was having problems and it apparently no-one does...and I tried using chrome and Firefox in a Windows computer and it Works fine...

Here is the same screen shot as yours in Safari.

"More Options" does indeed open behind the map. I was unable to get it to show properly with everything I tried including changing font size, zooming in or out, turning off all extensions, etc.

edit:
Well, I tried to attach the pic... but since I am a peon now, I am over the limit permitted and cannot post any more.

Hi bobtomay,
thanks a lot. I see now I am not the only one with the problem...

It's a poorly designed site and as you can tell now, it's designed for Windows users not Mac users. You'll probably have to access the site with your Windows PC if you want to keep up with your workout schedule.
