I cant seem to use time machine because it creates a bundle that can only be read on the mac and i cant to access the files anywhere. I also want it to be scheduled, like if theres a change, or new file it would be copied automatically. Please help i dont know what to even search

Look for Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper+. Format the external drive so it can be read by Windows, if you are going to use it with a windows machine. If you format it NTFS, then you'll need NTFS drivers from Paragon for the Mac to write to it.

This may work for you: Get Backup Overview

If that app doesn't work any better than "Swift Publisher" from the same software company (BeLight), I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Carbon Copy Cloner works and works well even if it does cost more.

It's been a number of years since I've looked at CCC. After looking at it's current feature set, I would have to agree that it's likely the better choice over the BeLight offering. I initially thought that it didn't have the features that the OP was looking for.
