Mac 17" Studio display Ghosting

I've got an issue with my 17" Studio Display ('02 model) ghosting. Has anybody had this issue and is there a fix besides replacement?

By ghosting I mean when I close a window I've been working in, I can see a slight ghost of the window on my desk top

I don't have a 17in Apple Studio Display but I would assume that is pretty standard of a monitor made around 3 years ago.

I have the same monitor, I had that problem once, turned out the connection to the computer was loose and somehow was coming unplugged. I have to ask: are you sure its not your eyes, like when you blink? its possible, thats what I thought when it happened here.
