FS/T: Lots of Newer hardware & software and some used.

Hello All,

I have the following items available for Sale or Trade.

If you would prefer to skip straight to an easier to read HTML formatted page with pictures of each item, then click on the following link:

http://www.mtaonline.net/~mshunter/mac.html

Otherwise, continue reading below:

I don’t know what a reasonable price is for each item, but I am willing to entertain offers and trades.

I’ll detail a list of the items I am particularly looking for in trade below.* But, you could approach me with other trade items as well (or make an offer to purchase an item).

First the list of what I have available for trade stock:

Don’t forget to look at all the pictures at:
http://www.mtaonline.net/~mshunter/mac.html

Items I have available:

iLife ‘05:* This is a complete iLife ‘05 package.* This package has never been installed, and is complete.* It includes the original DVD and CD versions of iLife ‘05, the install guide, and the Software Coupons / Proof of Purchase sheet.

MacTallic "Touch-Turn:* Brand-new and factory sealed. Never used or opened. This is a small turn-table for the iMac G5 to sit on. It allows you to easily turn your iMac G5 left or right with the touch of a finger.* This will work with both the 20-inch and 17-inch iMac (and any other similar display or item you wish to swivel).

MacTallic colored 20-inch face-plate:* Brand-new never used.* Includes all original packaging, mounting kit (thin double-back tape), directions, etc.* This beautiful Pink face-plate will dress-up and beautify your 20-inch iMac G5 system.* Once installed, you can’t really even tell that the face-plate isn’t an original part of the computer.* It fits very nicely, and looks original.* The edges blend beautifully.* In addition to the pictures (on my web-page) of the Pink face-plate that is for sale, I have included pictures of the Blue version installed on my system so you can see how beautifully they blend into the computer.* This face-plate is designed to fit on all the 20-inch iMac G5 systems that DO NOT have the iSight camera built-into them.

PowerPrint 5.0:* This is a software driver package.* It will enable you to use almost any PC-compatible printer (specifically those without Mac Drivers) with your Macintosh computer.* All you need is a standard USB to Parallel printer cable.* Includes Manual, Drivers Disk, and serial number sheet (for registration / support).* You supply the cable (available at most stores Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, etc.).* Works with Mac OS 8.1 through 9.2.2 and a G3 or higher processor.* If offerred enough money for the package, I would consider including a cable.* But, the cables are easy to obtain.

Kai’s Photo Soap SE:* Excellent Photo cleaning / editor for Power Macintosh and Windows 95 / NT 4.0.* This includes the CD-ROM only.* From the online Manual: “PowerPC processor or better, with a CD-ROM drive, a minimum of 16MB of RAM, and 20MB of free hard drive space. 16-bit video required, 24-bit recommended.* MacOS 7.5.5 or greater strongly recommended.”

Williams-Sonoma Guide to Good Cooking:* Complete Guide to Simple and Delicious Meals.* For Power Macintosh and Windows 95.* This includes the CD-ROM only.* System 7.5.2 or higher.

Western Digital 6.4 GB Hard Drive:* This hard drive works great, and was pulled from a working iMac G3 Lime system (333 MHz).* The drive was removed before the system ever received much use (installed a larger drive).* So, the drive is practically new.* I believe that it still has the factory installation of OS 8.6 on it (never formatted it, and no personal files were ever copied onto it).* So, it should be just like it came.

Drive Image 2002:* This is a hard disk cloning / backup solution for PC’s Windows XP, 2000, ME, NT 4.0, 95c and higher.* This package allows you to create a complete “Image” of your PC’s hard drive and store the image on Multiple CD’s for backup purposes.* You can later restore the hard drive from the CD’s to it’s original and exact state.* This creates an image of the entire hard drive, so you get accurrate archives.* This is more accurrate than file-by-file backups.

Pictures of each item listed above can be found at:
http://www.mtaonline.net/~mshunter/mac.html

Now, for the list of items I am specifically looking for:

Mac OS X Tiger 10.4 original retail package: (Full install Retail, not OEM or Upgrade disks).

1 GB or 512 MB Memory module:* For 12-inch iBook G4 1.33 GHz (Late 2005 model).* Should be a PC2700 DDR-SODIMM 333MHz Cas 2.5 200 Pin Memory Module (based on specs online).

60 or 80 GB or larger Hard drive (prefer 80 GB):* 2.5-inch hard drive for portable / Mac Mini that is ATA-100 or faster.* Also, must be 5400 R.P.M. or faster (prefer 7200 R.P.M.)

40 or 80 GB or larger IDE or SATA hard drive:* Standard 3.5-inch internal hard drive.* Would prefer SATA but ATA-133 would be acceptable as well.* I would also prefer a 7200 R.P.M. drive, but you can contact me with what you have.** Other similar drives?* Let me know what you have, and we’ll see if we can work something out.

4-port or more Ethernet Hub:* Must be capable of at least 100 MB speed (i.e. 10/100 hub).

Possibly a 17-inch SVGA LCD display / monitor:* A 17-inch LCD is very low on my priority list.* But, if you have a good older unit for trade (or make me a deal I can't refuse), then I may be interested.

iMac G3 CPU Upgrade:* Might entertain upgrading the CPU on my older iMac G3 system.* It is a 333 MHz Lime system.* I would consider upgrading it's CPU to a faster CPU if there is one available (and if it's compatible with OS X 10.2.8 and higher).

iMac G3 Memory upgrade:* If I were able to upgrade the CPU on the above mentioned iMac G3, then I might entertain upgrading it's memory to a full 512 MB of RAM.

If you have other items that may be of interest, let me know and we’ll see if they are anything I can use.

I am willing to consider trading multiple items towards certain items listed above.* Likewise, I might consider putting some money in addition to a trade for items such as the OS X Tiger (Retail package), 1 GB module for iBook, or hard drive for Mac Mini.* It all depends on the item, the condition, specs, and what we might be able to agree on.

If you are not interested in a trade, feel free to make me an offer on any item or group of items.

For ideas on other trade items I might consider, you could approach me with accessories or upgrades for the following computers:

12-inch iBook G4 1.33 GHz (Late 2005 model)
40 GB Hard Drive, 512 MB of RAM.* Combo Drive
OS 10.4.4

1.25 GHz Mac Mini (original version)
40 GB Hard Drive, 1 GB of RAM, Combo Drive
OS 10.3.9

iMac G3 Lime (333 MHz)
13 GB Hard Drive, 288 MB RAM, CD-ROM
OS 10.2.8

I am able to accept PayPal (either bank transfer or credit card) and Money Orders.

Again, you can see pictures of all the items at:
http://www.mtaonline.net/~mshunter/mac.html

You can contact me directly at:

[email protected]

If you prefer, you can send me a private message through this forum. But, I check e-mail all day long. So, you'll get a faster reply from me through e-mail. I don't get a chance to check the forums as often.

Be sure to let me know if you have any questions, or would like to make an offer on something.

I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
