I own the Hemera Photo Clip Art collection (circa 2002). I have all the original CDs, but I no longer have the serial number. A while back I got fed up with having a bookshelf full of empty software boxes, so I moved all of the CDs into a carrying case including (so I thought) their respective serial numbers. Then I threw the empty boxes away. I'm in the process of moving from my ancient Mac G4 onto my relatively new MacBook Pro. Yesterday I tried to install the Hemera Search Tool/Export Assistant onto the MacBook. It wanted the serial number. The way Hemera works, you CAN'T access the stock photography AT ALL without the Export Assistant. The Export Assistant IS on the G4 and works, but I can't get to the images that way either because the G4 doesn't have a functioning optical drive. Repurchasing the stock photography isn't an option because it's been discontinued and I'm out of work (read "destitute"). I assume I'm SOL (out of luck) ... unless there's some way to get the serial number from the G4.
