Hi all, So I posted a while ago (Just before Christmas) that my laptop, Macbook Pro 13" 2017 stopped charging. Well, I took it to an Apple authorised repairer in the city as I was told to. They looked at it and told me it needed a new logic board and replaced it as it is under warranty. I picked it up today to firstly find that they had scratched the **** out of it. Luckily, I have a hardshell case on and that is what was damaged and not my laptop (not the point) I then opened it up and found it full of dust!! I've just got home and turned it on and noticed the backlights don't work on the keyboard and there is no sound. I just get the speaker with a circle through it. Does anyone know why this is? Do I need to re-install something? Drivers etc. Never had this before so unsure what to do. I have emailed the company who repaired it and emailed their Head Office, this was just about the damage but if they have given me the laptop back not how it should be then I'll be sure to update my complaint with that too. But if it's something I can fix myself I will. Thanks in advance!
