It has 4 ram slots, each accepts a gig, so max memory of 4 gig's and it has 4 or 5 hdd bays, i have had 3 in at once, it has 2 sata and 2 ata slots as well.

and how much room is available for videocards? and im assuming it is pci-e , correct? I did some price checking on the parts you used to build this, it wouldn't cost someone more than $1000 dollars to build this themselves. Is there a monitor included (it's fine if there isn't one), and if so how much for the system with and without the monitor?

I didn't say it'd cost a 1,000 to build. That was my very first offer when I tried to sell it the first time. After time went the price went down, right now I'm looking for about 450 - 420 shipped. I could include a 21 inch CRT but that'd be an extra shipping fee because it's one heavy sucker. Probably have to add about 80 or so for the shipping on that monitor, but it'd be free.

The error was resolved, The video card wasn't plugged in all the way. I apologize for that. I must not have put it all the way in when I re-installed it.
