Logitech c930e not working with Mac :(

Hello

I just purchased a Logitech C930e which is suppose to be 100% compatible with my Macbook Pro

The operating system is OS 10.11.4

The mac does not recognise the camera at all!
My USB ports work fine...

The camera shows in the system report so apple tech told me its not the camera either...
can anyone think of anything else it could be?

Wow, you sure posted your problem to enough different forums, but hopefully we can help.

What Mac software apps have you tried and have to restarted/booted since attaching the Logitech C930e???

And your Mac DOES recognize the camera as you said the camera shows in the system report.

It's probably the software you're using or not that hasn't been told to use the webcam. It should be available from the menu settings somewhere.

Try using Image Capture for a start or Skype or Face Time…
