Hi Folks... I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I was wondering how I can log out of the Mac-Forums app on my iPad? I've gone thru all that I can see and I suppose I must be missing something somewhere that is probably under my nose.

Thanks.

I have never thought of it. But as I look around I can't find any place to do it. Since I am the only one on my phone I guess I never worried about it. Would be interested to know though.

Are you using the free Mac-Forums iOS app or your Safari browser to access our forums on your iPad?

In the iOS App on your iPad, touch the Tray icon top left (the one with the 3 Lines) and then Tap People. Once on that page, in the top right will be Log Out, and tap that and your done.

Hey that worked although it is a lot of steps. Now I have to go look up my password for the forum so I can log back in...... (dang senior moments.)

Unfortunately (or fortunately):)...this is an issue with all age groups!;)

OK, got it... thank you! I was racking my brain over this for so long!

BTW, another thing that would be useful is if the listings in the Nav Bar on the app were the same as those on the site.

And why does the screen shoot off to the right when you press the Mac-Forums icon?

I'm sure the crew is busy so no sure where to put these suggestions.

Thanks again!
Paras.

Or, double tap "home", swipe up on the Mac Forums app and you're done. (logged out)

But the other way works fine.

Thanks.

I guess I should explain further... When you double tap your home button on an iPad or iPhone, you can see which apps are running in the background. By swiping up with your finger on each app or whichever one you choose, you end the app. You don't have to physically log out of the Mac-Forums app anyway as it will time out. But if you wanted to make sure, you can use the method Tattoo gave or swipe up as I suggested. Hope that helps somewhat...

I see... got it. By Home Button, I thought you meant the 3-lines or the Mac-Forums logo inside the app.

Thanks for clarifying.
