lock screen settings

Hi guys so i've already updated my power settings etc when to go to sleep mode etc. Now im having an issue with lock screen not staying on. Meaning when i lock my screen within few seconds my screen is turning black. I've already checked screensaver, power setting etc. Any thoughts? please note that im using hot corners > lock screen setting.

What device? What version of the OS? What apps are running? How are you locking the screen? Not nearly enough information to provide any help.
