location of the iphone simulator?

hello world! i'm new to this forum, so just tell me if i did anything wrong. i want to develop an iphone/ipad app, but i cant seem to find the iphone simulator. like, i cant find the application. i downloaded iphone 3.1 SDK, if that helps.:Shouting: cant find it!
