hi
when i plug my guitar into the line in port, my computer detects it (iMac) but i get no sound from the speakers. i'm using the usb soundsticks. how do i get sound out of the speakers?

Have you checked the sound panel (system preferences -> sound).

There are three tabs; sound effects; output and input.

Check the output tab, see if it is pointing to your sound sticks.

checked, its on the soundsticks, still no sound from the guitar. tried adjusting input and output volume. still no luck

yeah, I think you need to somehow enable play back... because right now all u could do is record from that outsource... try soundstudio and click the playback

ok i tried that. there is playback, but still no sound while im playing. i guess that'll just have to do for now

well, im pretty sure if you use Soundstudio, and press "soft-play thru" it will echo what your playing...
