I have a G5 dual 2ghz tower that I currently use a Lacie 22 blue IV monitor with. I have been having this problem where the tower seems to not be comunicating with the monitor upon start up. I turn the computer on and then the monitor and no signal reaches the monitor.(or that's what seems to be the case) It's not as simple as a shotty cable or anything either. I know this because if I shut down and restart the computer several times, I will eventually get the monitor to work. It also seems to have this problem where the monitor goes into a power save mode and shuts down to standby while I'm away from my computer. I come back and hit the space bar etc to get out of sleep, and the monitor flashes weird bars of colors. I then have to shut down and restart the computer hoping the screen will work. Anyone have any leads or ideas as to what this might be. Are there any know problems using Lacie monitors due to this "power save" mode etc?????
