I'm having problems with my (upgraded to G3) PowerCenter Pro video and KVM switch box. If it's booted without the monitor being directly plugged into the onboard video card - I get no video. If it's booted with the monitor plugged in it's fine (keyboard and mouse work fine routed through KVM). To test the KVM and cable, after the mac is booted with the monitor plugged directly to the mac, I've put the monitor cable to the KVM and the monitor cable from the KVM to the mac - I still have video. If I reboot in this configuration I get no video. The pc on the switch box works fine. I've tried booting the mac with no monitor plugged in and then plug in the monitor after the hard drive stops spinning (and I get the boot up sound) and there's no video. It's like the video card doesn't get activated unless it's directly plugged into the monitor on startup. The KVM switch should create a seamless connection but it, apparently, does not. Any ideas? Thanks! :)
