I seem to have got a keychain access problem. I can no longer access my .Mac Pref. (see pic). I've had a look in Keychain access to see what i can do. Also my mail is now requesting i enter the password (same as for .Mac) each time i get mail and i can't save it in the accounts prefs.
I've repeaired permissions, and recently ran Onyx.
Little program glitches appearing aswell. Photoshop won't open any pics (program error), Word won't print, it crashes instead. Hmmm

Right, just to answer my own thread incase anyone has a similar problem. It initially didn't occur to me to actually DELETE the keychain entry for my idisk, and then just resave it when logging in next time.
Which of course did the trick...

You know lately a lot of members have been posting about Keychain troubles.

Just for personal knowledge here, Simbad... Does deleting a Keychain entry erase your password and stuff? And had you tried the Keychain First Aid first?

Hi there. No, I hadn't tried the first aid. But deleting the keychain it self removed my password form .Mac prefs and I just retyped and resaved it and all seems to be well. I've just looked at keychain first aid and I can see alot that needs fixing, but I haven't noticed anymore trouble elsewhere.

Hmm ok. Thanks for the added info.

Just as a safety precaution, maybe you should run Keychain First Aid if a lot seem to need it.

I just saw one in the OS X forum. I think it was posted yesterday. But in the past couple of weeks I've seen a few threads about Keychain going wacko. If you can't find the threads with the forum search you can thanks non-descript titles like Help!!!!!! and the like: those don't help the search function at all, unfortunately.

Edited to add:

Here it is. And just go to the OS X Operating System forum and search in that forum keychain: you'll see what I mean about recent problems some have with it. Must have been in the latest Security Update or something.
