Hello all, long time lurker and finally have an issue and decided to register. Details: MBP 15" Early 2011 Mavericks Background: Last weekend, I had my phone connected via USB, and then the MBP suddenly shut off. I tried messing with it then, and kept getting a kernal panic message. I left it alone for a week, and have been getting the same thing today. I'm assuming it's related to the OS . I've tried both Mavericks cmd+r and booting from Snow Leopard disk to no avail. It says my HD is unmounted and can't be repaired. What I've tried in addition to the above: SMC reset PRAM reset Safe Mode (holding shift) does not work (get the kernal panic script) So now, I'm pulling my hair and asking the experts here on what I should do next...or if it is just time to head to the Apple Store. Related pics if it helps: Many thanks!
