I have the following system for trade if anyone is interested. I am in New England and would consider some short travel if anyone is interested....again, just throwing this out there to gauge interest.

1.1 G AMD Athlon processor
512M RAM
New 80G hd
Liteon 24X burner
52x CD ROM
15" Hitachi CRT Monitor
Midiman Audiophile 24/96 sound card. (plays sounds on the computer, but for some reason will not play CD's. probably something easy I am missing)
Internal modem
3 button mouse and MS keyboard
Altec-Lansing surround sound speakers w. subwoofer
2 USB ports
Ethernet card
Currently running Mandrake 9.2 Linux

Anyway....I am looking to swap this out for an older iMac or iBook. This machine ran Win2K for years until I installed Linux. I though I would be interested in Linux, but I would rather just have a second Mac. One could easily keep running Linux or put a fresh install of any Windows OS on here without a problem.

Sorry I am not interested but to get the cd to play sound you need to have the audio cable connecting the cd drive to the sound card on the inside
