Just Install 10.3 and din't erase 9 Can I..??

So I just Install 10.3 in my ibook, but It dint take 9 off is still there and taking 2gigs of space is there any way to take it completly off??

ibook G4 12 inch running mac os 10.4 with: 60 gb HD+256 mb ram+Radeon 9200
Just drag the System 9 Folder to the trash
