Just got a 17" macbook pro

I can not get the program Parallels to work.

I install parallels and then it asks for the window disc i put that in and the serial # for the disk I check the recommended method of install and this is where the problems start. It starts to install but then locks up when the windows install window says that there is about 35 min left, does anyone know what I am doing wrong.

i dunno if para is the same as bootcamp but i think u need to have SP2 XP CD in order to install it i might be wrong though

I've had the same problem with parallels...sometimes it just doesn't work....i haven't found a good fix for it except just deleting the what there is of the first installation and starting over. I've had to do it three or four times before....but once it works it sure is slick....also make sure you have the most up to date version of parallels.
