Yes thats a good deal. The base MacBook Pro is $1999. add the extra RAM and apple care and you're at $2474 before tax. You definately save some scratch!

Maybe its just me, but isn't that the sort of question you should ask before you buy something?

Lol, thanks. Yea I know I should of asked before, but I didn't find a better deal, plus my schools return policy is really good, so I can always return it if there is a better price out there.

I guess I'm asking if anyone knows of a better price than the one I got.

Also, what do you guys think is the best P2P program?

OK so taking your advice guys, the UK Apple store has this in it's refurb page what do you think?
Refurbished MacBook Pro, 15-inch, 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo
15.4-inch widescreen display (1440x900 resolution)
1GB (single SODIMM) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
100GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive
Slot-load SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW)
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256MB GDDR3 memory
Built-in iSight Camera
Front Row and Apple Remote
£1,233.75 Inc Delivery and Tax
apparantly 41% saving on original price.

Going to answer my own question (I think) it doesn't look that good as a spanking new with a similar spec is not that much more, I'm now assuming the 41% is from the ORIGINAL price not the price you could get one for now, does that make sense?
