The box included a link to the developers' site so my wife downloaded the installer and ran it.  Made no difference. Box still popped up on startup and periodically during use.  A little reading on my part found there was another Mac version called Oracle Java. So I downloaded the zip ran the installer and now no more popup dialogue.  So I am curious why I didn't get the same notification and why there are two seemingly appropriate types of Java for the Apple OS.</p></blockquote><p></p>
