iWeb without iPhoto?

Is it possible to get the media viewer to display images that aren't in iPhoto? I had to import everything I wanted to use into iPhoto, even though I don't use it. Talk about crappy organization. I ended up having 36 "Roll" folders for my different images.

I doubt it. iWeb uses the thumbnails and structures created by iPhoto, so without them i doubt it would work.
One advice, if you want to paste photos in your page using iWeb it is better to create a smaller copy of the image (according to the size you need), this will speed up the process of publishing and the start up time of iWeb.
