iTunes won't play radio

Suddenly, iTunes has stopped playing radio stations.
I click on various international stations and they do not play. This just happened without warning, after working well. Some but not all Podcasts seem affected, too.
They only thing I did was to watch and listen to a film clip in You Tube. For that purpose, I used a Logitech bluetooth device to avoid disturbing someone in the room I was using.
After removing the device, the computer audio resumed working, and, indeed, I can receive the sound from their station App.
iPhone will also give me the sound from a station App, and play podcasts, so the modem must be OK.
However, I need iTunes (alas!) to operate a Bose wifi sound diffuser system, and, of course, as a normally convenient means of obtaining a wide variety of stations.

This issue, or one similar to it, has appeared on a number of forums. You've stipulated Yosemite as your OS, but which version of iTunes are you using?

First, in answer to your question: I have iTunes 12.1.0.50 (MAC) and downloaded that latest edition on top of the existing copy (a web expert says you can re-install iTu that way in MAC [not in Win]). At first, the no-audio problem continued. Then, it dawned on me that I should switch on the Bose wifi speaker, and try again. iTunes started played stream-stations again! Earlier, one could turn Bose on or off at will, then click on the little Bose-suplied airplay icon that appears at the top of the iTunes menu to select1) computer only 2) Bose and computer. Recently, I had unplugged Bose while the streamed radio program was playing. A message from the Bose software asked me if I wanted to continue in computer-only mode and I clicked "yes". Subsequently, with or without Bose, iTunes had the problem that I described in my original post. Something had indeed changed in the system, but I'm not sure what. Conclusion: the problem I described has been solved for my purposes but putting Bose online, but from now on, I will un-click Bose in the iTunes icon before I unplug it. Greatly appreciate your attention, and would be happy to know the outcome of the problem you referred to. I would observe that Bose has a simple update procedure for its software.
