For inquiring minds wondering why their iTunes is not updated.

That's because it wasn't updated.

iTunes 12 "beta" (the 4th) was released for testing and only for those that are running the Yosemite "beta".

At least you know it's just round the corner and will be coming when Yosemite is released later this month

It's nice to hear what they're doing - but the first thing I did was pull up the App Store and check for updates - nothing....

I'm not running the Yosemite beta as I don't have a tester Mac it will run on.

Dive right in and drop Yosemite on your main Mac. Better yet let the Mrs. experiment with it. How much trouble could that possibly cause for you?:D

I'm not sure what you're talking about, unless you're outside the U.S.

Mavericks and all iTunes versions for Yosemite have had both iTunes Radio and Internet (other) radio.

Ah, okay. Yes, that makes a difference.

I have really enjoyed crafting a few of my favourite bands together into "stations," and with a little bit of "pruning" afterwards, I now have four or five channels I can put on and will reliably enjoy. I've even discovered some new bands as a result.
