Let me apologize in advance, I have searched all over this and other forums and I cannot find anyone who is having the same problem I am.

Within the last three months I have purchase a few HD-SD TV shows from iTunes. I had no issues playing them on my MacBook until today. I can't play them at all. All I get is a gray window where the video should be playing and no audio. The video file is playing though because I can see the time elapse on the timeline bar. I only got a warning at the beginning saying something about detecting displays, but I can't get it to show up again. I'm just trying to play it on my MacBook, no other displays.

If you can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for posting the guidelines. I actually had read those already and searched all over and could not find the answers I was looking for. Can you provide any further assistance? Thanks.

Can you drag the videos out of itunes (or locate the original files in the iTunes folder) and play them with another video player (VLC, etc)?
