iTunes 12.1.2 - No Functionality in Column Headers?

When viewing my iTunes music library, I can click at the top of the columns, whether it's "Date Added," or "Artist," and the library is instantly organized according to that selection. However, when I plug in my iPhone and try to do the same thing in my iPhone music library, those column headers don't do anything when I click on them!

Is there a setting I'm missing or is this just the way iTunes is now? (I just upgraded from a 2008 iMac running Snow Leopard).

Your iPhone's library is not editable from your Mac unless you switch to "manually manage music and videos" in iTunes, IIRC

Yeah, that's correct, but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with the column headers' ability to be clicked.
