I have to admit I was anticipating the worst (including kissing an $80 bill good-bye), but I was very pleasantly surprised by having my problem handled quickly and appropriately. My compliments to Apple for doing the right thing with this problem.

Thanks for the update. Congrats on getting a free replacement power supply...AND...thanks for admitting that Apple did a better job than you expected!:)

You were being pretty pessimistic (in the earlier posts) with your expected outcome in this matter. Those of us that know Apple well...know that Apple is capable of some pretty amazing customer service. That's why Apple is frequently rated #1 in customer service (and not just within the computer industry).:)

Next time you hear someone "bad-mouthing" Apple. Make sure you mention this positive experience!!!:):)
