Is my MacBook haunted?

Hi Guys,

Recently, iTunes installed on my MacBook Pro Retina has started playing songs without me pressing play.

The scenario is : I have ITunes open, play a song then pause it. I switch to another App leaving iTunes open. I then leave the MacBook open, and go off to do something else. Some time later iTunes starts playing the music again from where I paused, either the song or the next one without me touching the MacBook, very spooky! I don't know if it's relevant but I normally play back via a Bose blutooth speaker and when it restarts playing it is through the internal speakers.

So any ghost hunters out there?

Thanks for the suggestion but it's not that, my MacBook is quite dry!

I think it may be related to notifications. I have e-mails set to chime for new mail. I noticed that when an e-mail arrived then paused music started again with no chime. I shall have to experiment!
