... Old Man Winter?

It's March 21st and I'm snowed in. Seriously, why won't winter leave?

I read the subject and thought "oh no....".

Winter has left. All the snow has melted and the temperature has been in the double digits the last week and half or so. I think it even hit 16C (61F) on St. Patty's Day which made missing even worse. I have no idea what you're talking about... :p.

It's -1ºC here and there are about 4" of snow on the ground in the midwest USA. It sucks!

In Ithaca, NY, it's been fairly warm the last few weeks. But yea, let old man winter have it. Give him the blue juice.

It must suck having all that snow (just frozen water really), all over the place you live. Yeah hope it warms up for you soon. And make a snowman with a hand that gives the middle finger to mr winter :)

Mind you here where I live it has never ever snowed. We have lots of water too mind you. In the form of massive state wide flooding and cyclones. And here if it ever hits 16C as a midday temperature, we call it a bloody cold winters day.

Yeah, the heaviest snow was in a rather narrow band. Most people in the Midwest are enjoying spring-like weather this weekend.

It's not wrong! Kill it with fire!!!

The past few days in the city were around 20*C, I actually was in shorts and a tshirt for one of them...

Now, it's lightly snowing and about 2*C out. But, I no longer live in the city and am further east, which probably has to do with the temp, not to mention there's little/no smog here green-housing us.

It is meant to be in the 40's today here in Minnesota. T-shirt weather for us.
Though all the rivers are major flooded over from all the melted snow. Some have sadly lost their homes around here.

Still in the mid thirties (Celsius about 90+) down under so we can export it to you as we have had enough heat for one summer and autumn.

Don't worry, we'll be getting those 30-40C days soon enough.

It is near the end of March and in Louisiana the weather is very unpredictable. Just a few days ago we had beautiful sunshine with temp as high up in the 70s, but today it is horrible. Its about 40 outside and its wet with a small sprinkle of snow. So yea i would euthanize old man winter.

I read the subject and thought "oh no....".

I was hoping for a really fun thread here!

Winter is only a pain if you live where it's cold. There are large parts of the world where it is barely noticeable.

I'm in Northwestern Ontario and all of our snow has melted. It's crazy to see people in t-shirts and shorts so early in the year. I'm not putting my winter coat away yet. There always needs to be one more big snow storm before Spring officially begins.

For sure. The snowblower stays at the ready until mid-May, even "way down" here! (southern shores of Lake Michigan)

Well, there was rain and light hail today on my way to campus. It's a little confusing - warm and sunny days last week and cooler and light hail this week. I don't get weather.
