is it possible to pick up a apple refurb at an apple store?

im going to get a refurb 12" pb and i saw the est ship time was 30 days. do they ship it from the factory or would i be able to pick it up from a b&m store?

im guessing its strait from the factory cause its a refurb but i wanted to make sure.

They sometimes have some in stock but you can't order it online and pick it up in the store closest to you

I went to my apple store today and they had a refurbed 12 inch pb and a 15 inch pb there. (Chicago, IL) so yeah...it's possible. (though the first time I've ever seen them)
