What happens when an iPod is serviced?
iPod equipment sent in for service is replaced with functionally equivalent new, used, or refurbished iPod equipment. Service is processed through AppleCare's direct mail-in system. You will not receive the same iPod that was sent in for service. If your original iPod was personalized by Apple, your replacement iPod will be automatically personalized with the same text.
You will get back the exact same model you send in, AND it will be engraved with the exact same text as the one you sent in.macman88 said:Aptmunich- what do you mean a standard one back. that wouldn't make sense, i am pretty sure that i am going to get back a photo one, im just not sure if it will engraved.
Sorry, I meant you would get a "standard one" as in a regular off the shelf 40GB iPod photo model without engraving.macman88 said:Aptmunich- what do you mean a standard one back. that wouldn't make sense, i am pretty sure that i am going to get back a photo one, im just not sure if it will engraved.
