Ok guys, when I plug my iPod up to my computer and iTunes opens and I go to the summary tab it says I have 589.8 MB of "Other" on my iPod. I have put NOTHING but music on here...I have looked to see but can't find anything...Does anyone know what exactly this "other" is and how I can remove it?

I believe it's all the album art, the sample address, etc... but mostly album art. If you have any.... :)

Hope that helps!

other is album art/notes/alarms etc. If all you have is music on your ipod and you want to get rid of "other" back up your information on your ipod and restore it.

It is not a new iPod. I've had it for a few months now and have tons of music on it. I am positive that is was MB. I doubt it is album art/alarms/contacts because I don't use album art it kind of bugs me, and I've checked the other folders and they have nothing in them. I did end up just restoring it last night but I was simply curious as to what "other" is.
