Ipod Lock

i upgrade itunes and now my ipod its locked the songs are not highlighted they are grey color and theres a lock on the bottom
what happened?

Did you accidentally flip the lock switch on the top of the iPod?

Or do you have to re-select the option to manage the songs/library your own? If it's not selected iTunes just wants to sync the ipod with your mac and you can't delete or add several songs...
