ipod folders

im curious to know if i can delete all those folders that appear in the ipod when i use it as a disk. the folders that are labeled like >> ∙╞ΩçÖ.R╤▄
or should i leave them alone?

I have never seen that before, but maybe I overlooked that. Have you used any third party apps with your iPod in the past. Did you check to see what was in the folder?

There should be 3 folders there. One is address, the other contacts and there is a third but am not on my mac at the moment. If there is any other folders there, I doubt they should be. I have never seen anything but the 3 I just mentioned. Sounds like some 3rd party application put some folders there. Never seen it before on my Ipod but sware I read a post on a Forum about it.

Was you using iTunes? I used to transfer my tracks onto my iPod using a Winamp plugin and that added some folders like that to my iPod, they were only a couple of kbs though so I just left them.
